Beef Tapa with Soda

beef tapa with soda

Here’s one easy beef tapa recipe that you can try at home. It definitely doesn’t require too much ingredients and process. You just have to use soda or we commonly called soft drink to add more flavor to the beef. It may look so simple but it is absolutely delicious.

Here’s how to cook Beef Tapa with Soda:

Ingredients:

1 kg Beef Sirloin
1 1/2 cup Soda
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1 tbsp. Osyter Sauce
1 medium sized Onions (1, sliced; 1, rings)
4 cloves Garlic (chopped)
Olive Oil (or vegetable oil)
Salt
Pepper

Process:

  1. In a bowl, combine in the beef, sliced onions, garlic, oyster sauce, soy saucec and soda. Mix and marinate for about an hour or overnight.
  2. Pour in the marinated beef in a pan and cook. When the liquid starts to evaporate, season it with salt and pepper.
  3. Then finally, when the liquid has completely dries out, pour in some olive oil and add the onion rings. Give it a good mix for a couple of minutes.

Note from Delish:

This is one easy recipe that you can try at home. For this one, I used 7up because that’s the only soda available at home. But you can always use the soda that you want. You can even add some chili flakes if you want some spicy kick.
