Seaweed Salad

Seaweed Salad

This is not the usual fresh salad that you can prepare everyday. The seaweed itself is not widely available and is very seasonal. But if you happen to see one, make sure to try this mouthwatering appetizer. This recipe is great to pair with fried fish and hot steaming rice.

Check out how to prepare fresh seaweed salad here:

Note from Delish:

This seaweed is very common in our local market here in Iloilo City, Philippines. We commonly call this “gulaman”. In some places maybe different though.

This is one healthy appetizer that will make drool. Preparing this may vary. But for me, i really need let it stay on a boiling water for a couple of minutes. Some may just soak it hot water. You can also make other variations by adding more ingredients of your choice.
